My sister and I are planning our next trip to Disney World at the beginning of 2022. One point of contention is likely going to be dining selections. This is primarily because my sister and her boyfriend follow a pescatarian diet while the other six members of our party are all omnivores. In anticipation of this issue, I compiled a list of restaurants that I feel offer the best options for both dietary preferences. See below for my list of the best Disney World restaurants for families with vegetarians and meat-eaters.

There are a few things I should note. Specifically, we prefer to eat a quick breakfast in or near our hotel. I have not included breakfast restaurants on this list. We also tend to gravitate toward counter-service restaurants for lunch and table-service restaurants for dinner. Having only one table-service meal per day helps keep down your overall food expenses. In addition, we find that by dinner time we are pretty tired and ready to sit down for a bit in some air conditioning.
Although I consider myself an omnivore, I also prefer not to eat hamburgers and french fries for lunch everyday, so I also prioritized dining options with healthier, more varied options. I have previously eaten at most, but not all of the restaurants listed below, but the ones I haven’t tried yet are generally highly recommended by other bloggers and guidebooks. I have included both my favorite counter-service and table-service options for each of the four main parks below.
A few notes
If you choose to have meals at table-service restaurants, you will be required to make a reservation well in advance. Prior to the pandemic, you had to make dining reservations 180 days in advance. As of the date of this post, you can now make dining reservations only 60 days in advance. Please note that as of now, you must also have a valid park reservation in addition to your dining reservation in order to dine in the parks.

I have also included a list of some of the best Disney World table service restaurants outside of the Parks. Some of the best Disney restaurants are at the resort hotels and Disney Springs. These are a great option if you are only spending part of the day at a park or are visiting a park on a day that it closes early.
If you are planning your first trip to Disney World or haven’t been in a while, I recommend that you visit my posts on The Best Planning Tips, Tools, and Resources for Disney World and Tips for Making the Most of your visit to Disney World. I also have a post on What to Wear to Disney World if you are into sporting themed apparel (which is extremely popular among guests in the park).
All of the information below was up to date as of January 14, 2022. Please note that Disney World regularly updates menus and reopens restaurants, so be sure to check the Disney World website to verify all dining selections prior to your trip.
